LONDON (ICIS)--SABIC Europe is currently ramping down its No 4 cracker at Geleen in the Netherlands ahead of a planned maintenance shutdown, a company spokeswoman said on Thursday.
“It’s ramping down and will be shut down on 15-16 September,” the spokeswoman said.
The No 4 cracker, the larger of the two owned by SABIC at the site, has the capacity to produce 675,000 tonnes/year of ethylene, according to ICIS data.
The cracker is expected to start up around 1-2 November.
