SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Tianjin Bohua Petrochemical is planning to start up its 600,000 tonne/year propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant at Tianjin on 16 September, a company source said on Friday.

The company failed in commissioning the plant on 12 September, according to the source.

“We’ll try again later,” added the source.

Construction of the plant, which will be the first PDH unit to come in operation in China, started in June 2011.
