SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s PTM Engineering Plastics plans to restart its 60,000 tonne/year polyacetal (POM) resins facility at Nantong in Jiangsu province on 20 September, a company source said on Monday.
It was shut for around a month for maintenance, the source said.
Market sources said the shutdown did not affect supply since this was a scheduled maintenance.
PTM Engineering Plastics, which produces copolymer acetal, is a joint venture of Japanese companies Polyplastics and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical, Korea Engineering Plastics, and US-based specialty chemical producer Ticona.
