SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industry Group has revised the start-up date for its 600,000 tonne/year propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit at Tianjin to 18 September after failing to bring it online on Monday, according to a source close to the company.

The company failed to bring the unit online on 16 September because of a technical issue, the source added.

Construction of the plant, which will be the first PDH unit to come in operation in China, started in June 2011.
