HOUSTON (ICIS)--Chemviron Carbon has agreed to a 10-year contract with ?xml:namespace>
The value of the contract is dependant on the amount of carbon reactivated.
Reactivation of the spent carbon will be done at Chemviron’s Tipton plant near
Until the expansion is completed, carbon reactivation will be conducted at Chemviron’s facilities in Grays,
Reactivation involves treating spent carbon in a high-temperature furnace, where undesirable organics on the carbon are thermally destroyed and the product is made into a reusable quality.
