SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Singapore’s exports of acetone rose by 16.7% year on year to 10,897 tonnes in August amid a rise in overall shipments of petrochemicals abroad, official data showed on Tuesday.
However, in January-August this year, the country’s exports of acetone fell by 10.2% year on year to 84,292 tonnes, International Enterprise (IE) Singapore said in its monthly report.
Singapore’s overall petrochemical exports rose by 29.3% year on year to Singapore dollar (S$)1.39bn in August, as overall non-oil domestic exports (NODX) dipped for the third straight month.
