LONDON (ICIS)--Belgium-based producer Solvay will shut down its epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant in Rheinberg, Germany for planned maintenance from 7-16 October, a company source said on Tuesday.
The company will supply its customers from inventories and also by ramping up production at its other plant in Tavaux, France.
According to ICIS, the Rheinberg plant has a nameplate capacity of 60,000 tonnes/year.
