HOUSTON (ICIS)--US Enterprise Products Partners has started up its seventh natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionator at its Mont Belvieu complex in Texas, the company said on Tuesday.

This fractionator, as well as an eighth one under construction, are being developed in conjunction with Western Gas Partners, an affiliate of Anadarko Petroleum, Enterprise said.

“Our eighth fractionator is also running ahead of schedule and should be in-service by mid-fourth quarter 2013, said chief executive Michael Creel. “Fractionators seven and eight will increase total capacity at the partnership’s Mont Belvieu complex to 655,000 bbl/day, compared to 400,000 bbl/day just three years ago.”
