SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Xinjiang Markor Chemical is running its 60,000 tonne/year butanediol (BDO) plant at full capacity, after conducting maintenance at the unit, a company source said on Wednesday.

"The plant is running very well after the restart on 15 September,”  the source said.

The plant in China's northwestern Xinjiang province was shut on 1 September for scheduled maintenance.

Xinjiang Markor Chemical's second BDO plant at the site, with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes/year, is also running at 100%, according to the source.
