India’s MRPL sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for mid-October

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender a 35,000-tonne naphtha cargo for loading from New Mangalore on 17-19 October, traders said on Thursday.

The buyer was Japanese trading firm Marubeni, they said.

The deal for the cargo was done at $28.28/tonne (€20.93/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), traders said.

In its previous tender, MRPL sold a similar-sized cargo for loading from the same port to trading firm PetroDiamond.

The deal for the cargo was done at Middle East quotes FOB pricing plus $29/tonne, with the loading dates scheduled on 8-10 October.
