SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Al Waha Petrochemicals has completed maintenance works at its production site in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, and is in the process of resuming operations, its parent firm Sahara Petrochemical said late on Wednesday.
Steps are being undertaken to restart Al Waha’s operations, Sahara said in a filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange on 18 September.
Al Waha, which is an affiliate of Sahara, has a 450,000 tonne/year polypropylene plant at the site.
Production in Jubail was disrupted on 9 September because of a technical fault.
