SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC) plans to restart its 400,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant at Ningbo in China’s Zhejiang province on 29 September, a company source said on Monday.
The company was running at full capacity prior to the shutdown, which started on 20 September for nine days of annual maintenance, the source said.
There will be a few cargoes available for supply from the Ningbo plant in late September, the source added.
The company is offering its PVC at yuan (CNY) 7,250-7,350/tonne ($1,185-1,201/tonne) EXW (ex-works), according to Chemease, an ICIS service in China.
