SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Yanshan Petrochemical is running one of its two 70,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) lines in Beijing at full capacity after restarting it on 23 September, a company source said on Tuesday.
The HDPE line has started producing material of the blow moulding grade, according to the source.
The HDPE line was shut down on 27 August for regular maintenance, the source added.
The restart of the line will not have a significant impact on the domestic HDPE market, because of its small capacity, local distributors said.
