SINGAPORE(ICIS)--China’s Qinghai Yihua Chemical plans to conduct routine maintenance at its 300,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant around 27 September, a company source said on Tuesday.
The maintenance shutdown may last for one week, with the company planning to restart the plant during the Chinese National Day holiday which falls in the first week of October, the source added.
Qinghai Yihua supplies cargoes to east and north China, and with the maintenance shutdown, supply to these markets is expected to decrease in the following week.
