S Korea's exports of etac fell 99.2% to 7 tonnes in August

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s exports of ethyl acetate (etac) fell by 99.2% year on year to 7 tonnes in August, data from Korea International Trade Association (KITA) showed on Wednesday.

In January-August this year, the country’s exports of etac was down by 49.3% year on year at 4,278 tonnes, the KITA data showed.

The overall value of petrochemical exports rose by 12.1% year on year to $4.21bn (€3.1bn) in the first 20 days of August this year.
