SHANGHAI (ICIS)--India’s Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) is running its 430,000 tonne/year cracker in Gandhar at a reduced rate because of a burst gas pipeline, Mumbai-based industry sources said on Wednesday.
Supply to its 160,000 tonne/year downstream high density polyethylene (HDPE) unit at the same site was also affected, according to the sources.
It may take at least two to three months for the pipeline to be repaired, according to the source.
