LONDON (ICIS)--Qatar Melamine has ramped up production at its 60,000 tonne/year melamine plant following a maintenance phase that began at the end of August, a source from the company said on Wednesday.
“Our melamine production went back to normal last week,” the source said. “Now we are building up our inventory and accomplishing Q3 [third-quarter] shipments.”
The company began a partial shutdown on 30 August.
The melamine facility is located in Mesaieed Industrial City, near Doha, on the eastern coast of the Qatar peninsula.
