Air Liquide acquires US electronics materials firm Voltaix

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Air Liquide has completed its acquisition of US-based electronics materials company Voltaix, the France-based industrial gases producer said on Thursday.

Voltaix manufactures materials used in semiconductor devices and advanced solar cells, with capabilities in silicon, germanium and boron chemistries.

Air Liquide said the acquisition compliments its ALOHA product line of precursors and brings together synergies that allow it to introduce a broader portfolio to semiconductor manufacturers.
