LONDON (ICIS)--INEOS ChlorVinyls is ramping down its chlorine and caustic soda operations at Tesenderlo, in Belgium, ahead of planned maintenance work, a company source said on Thursday.
The maintenance period is expected to last for around ten days, the source added.
The company’s other chlorine and caustic soda facilities at Rafnes, in Norway are scheduled to undergo a scheduled maintenance stop in mid–October lasting for a similar timeframe.
The maintenance turnaround schedules have been prepared in advance, the source said.
