LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European October propylene contract price has been agreed down by €40/tonne at €1,110/tonne ($1,500/tonne) to reflect weaker feedstock costs, a major consumer said on Friday.
The contract, which is settled on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis, was agreed by three major consumers with one major supplier.
Confirmation from a second major supplier is necessary before the new contract price can be considered established.
