LONDON (ICIS)--The European October butadiene (BD) contract price has been agreed up by €50/tonne ($68/tonne) at €825/tonne driven primarily by spot price gains in the Asian BD market, contract players said on Monday.
The contract, which is settled on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis, has so far been confirmed by three major producers and two major consumers.
Confirmation from a third major consumer in the settlement is pending.
