Switzerland-based Agrifert SA has set up a new fertilizer subsidiary, Agrifert Farm Inputs SA, to expand its international fertilizer trading business, the agricultural commodities trader said on Tuesday.

Working in partnership, Emrah Basaran will head the company as CEO while Denis Savostyanov will join as commercial director.

Previously, Basaran worked at Keytrade AG as vice president, managing the sourcing, selling and logistics of fertilizers. He was also responsible for the global trading of fertilizers, focusing on markets such as Brazil, Russia, China and India.

Savostyanov worked as commercial director at Keytrade AG, responsible for the sourcing of all fertilizer products from Russia and the Former Soviet Union. He was also the global product manager for ammonium nitrate.
