SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Luxi Chemical is running its new 100,000 tonne/year caprolactam (capro) plant at Liaocheng in Shandong province at around 60% of capacity, the company said on Tuesday.

On-spec products were achieved couple of days ago, a company source said.

The plant’s capacity will be doubled to 200,000 tonnes/year in the future, but the timetable for expansion has not been decided yet, the company said in the filing to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
