SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global is currently operating its 50,000 tonne/year ethanolamines unit in Map Ta Phut at 80% of capacity, industry sources said on Wednesday.

PTT conducted maintenance at the unit in the first half of August.

The company was heard to be diverting much of the amines supply to western Europe, where the netbacks were higher than the markets in Asia, according to sources.
