NewsFlashArkema declares force majeure on AA and butyl-A at Carling

LONDON (ICIS)--French specialty chemicals producer Arkema has declared force majeure on acrylic acid (AA) and butyl acrylate (butyl-A) from its Carling, France site, because of a substantial mechanical failure, according to a company letter to its customers seen by ICIS on Wednesday.

Further confirmation is pending.
