LONDON (ICIS)--Perstorp has not yet restarted its oxo-alcohols plant in Stenungsund, Sweden, following a planned eight-day turnaround, a company source said on Wednesday.
The source said the restart had been delayed owing to unspecified problems, but it hoped that operations would be restored by the end of this week.
The shutdown, involving 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) and n-butanol (NBA) production, began during the weekend of 28-29 September.
Nameplate capacities of 120,000 tonnes/year for 2-EH and 90,000 tonnes/year for NBA were previously confirmed by a source at the company.
