Switzerland's Givaudan Q3 group sales down 1.1% at $1.2bn

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Givaudan’s third-quarter overall group sales slipped by 1.1% year on year to Swiss francs (Swfr) 1.09bn ($1.2bn) as revenue from both of its core business divisions fell, the Switzerland-based firm said on Thursday.

Its fragrance division posted a 1.3% year-on-year dip in sales to Swfr532m, while revenue at its flavour division fell by 0.9% to Swfr561m, the company said in a statement.

For the first nine months of this year, the company’s overall sales rose by 2.7% year on year to €3.32bn, it said.

The company did not disclose net profit figures.
