SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s CPC Corp has sold 5,000 tonnes of paraxylene (PX) for November loading via tender on Tuesday, a company source said.
The tender was sold at a premium not exceeding $20/tonne (€15/tonne) to a free-on-board (FOB) Kaohsiung price, derived from 50% Asia Contract Price and 50% spot average CFR (cost and freight) Taiwan values, the source added.
In the previous tender, CPC sold 5,000 tonnes of PX for second-half October shipment at a premium of around $18-20/tonne.
