LONDON (ICIS)--Perstorp restarted production at its oxo-alcohols plant in Stenungsund, Sweden, on 10 October, a company source said on Tuesday.
Unspecified technical problems had delayed the restart of the plant following a planned eight-day turnaround.
The planned shutdown, involving 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) and n-butanol (NBA) production, began during the weekend of 28-29 September.
Nameplate capacities of 120,000 tonnes/year for 2-EH and 90,000 tonnes/year for NBA were previously confirmed by a source at the company.
