Thai Fatty Alcohols restarts 100,000 tonne/year plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thai Fatty Alcohols is currently ramping up production at its 100,000 tonne/year plant in Thailand’s Rayong province after restarting the unit late on 15 October, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.

The source did not provide details on the current operating rate of the plant.

The plant was taken off line on 2 October for a scheduled maintenance and catalyst change.

Thai Fatty Alcohols is owned by Thai Oleochemicals, a subsidiary of PTT Global Chemical.
