SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shandong Haili Chemical has yet to kick off construction of its planned propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit at Dafeng in Jiangsu province, a source close to the company said on Friday.
The PDH unit is expected to produce more than 500,000 tonnes/year of propylene, the source said.
The plant’s start-up may be pushed back beyond 2015, the source said.
Shandong Haili was supposed to start building the PDH unit in the first half of 2013.
