LONDON (ICIS)--Plastic sheets manufacturer Quinn Plastics has rebranded its company and is now trading as Polycasa, a company source said on Friday.
Its sheets plant is based in Montcada, Spain with a capacity of 7,500 tonnes/year.
“As of 10 October, we will no longer be trading as Quinn Plastics,” Polycasa said in a press release. “This change follows a significant restructure of the company.”
The Belgium-based company describes itself as a plastic extrusion specialist.
“We are the largest independent sheets manufacturer in Europe,” the source said. “We make polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), extrude it and make flat sheets.”
Polycasa has production sites in Mainz, Germany and Zilina, Slovakia. Other European PMMA manufacturers include Altuglas, a subsidiary of France-based specialty chemical company Arkema, Germany’s Evonik Industries and the UK’s Lucite International.
