Taiwan’s FPCC settles September BD contract $186/tonne higher

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) has finalised its September butadiene (BD) contract at $1,256/tonne (€917/tonne), up by $186/tonne from the previous month, a company source said on Monday.

FPCC’s August contract was settled at $1,070/tonne pipeline DEL (delivered). Its September contract was provisionally settled at $1,253/tonne DEL.

The company’s monthly BD contract price is settled on a retroactive basis and is roughly based on the average spot prices of that particular month.
