SINGAPORE (ICIS)—China’s Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical restarted its 200,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant in Beijing on 18 October, a company source said on Monday.
The plant was shut down since 19 September because of the shortage of propylene, the source added.
The restart of the line will have minimal impact on the general PP market as the line mainly produces PP special materials like TERPP and TPP, local traders said.
