Recycled polyethylene terephthalate (RPET) market players will be pleased to discover ICIS has enhanced its coverage with the launch of a new US RPET price report. Growing pressure for companies to recycle is increasing material supply; domestic demand for recycled PET is also expected to increase. However, prices must also be favourable compared with virgin PET and declining exports to China will also have an impact.
The new US report provides independent pricing information for all grades, plus coverage of both East and West Coasts. It represents a reliable benchmark when negotiating prices and is the only report to also highlight trade opportunities in other regions.
