EU TiO2 imports, exports increase in August - Eurostat

LONDON (ICIS)--European titanium dioxide (TiO2) imports and exports increased year on year in August 2013, data from statistics agency Eurostat showed on Monday.

Imports increased by 14%, while exports were up by 11%.

The European TiO2 market has become more balanced and producers have reduced inventory levels in an attempt to tighten supply and raise prices.
