SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is running its 300,000 tonne/year low density polyethylene (LDPE) plant at Map Ta Phut, Thailand at 70-80% capacity, since restarting the plant at the end of last week, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.

The plant was shut in July because of technical problems.

Production at the LDPE plant would be gradually ramped up to full capacity, the source said.
