SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) has postponed the turnaround of its 250,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Map Ta Phut, Thailand, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.
The plant was originally scheduled to be shut for maintenance in November, the source said.
The source, however, did not know what led the turnaround to be delayed and the new maintenance schedule.
The producer’s two other HDPE plants at Map Ta Phut with a combined capacity of 550,000 tonnes/year were not scheduled for maintenance this year, the source said.
