SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Far Eastern Textile’s polyethylene terephthalate (PET) line in Guanyin has been taken off line on 21 October for maintenance as planned, a company source said on Tuesday.
The 350,000 tonnes/year bottle-grade chips line is estimated to be shut for three weeks and due to restart on 10 November, the source said.
The company’s second bottle-grade chips line at the unit with a capacity of 110,000 tonnes/year is currently operating at 80% of capacity, according to the source.
