SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s SK Zhenbang Chemical’s polyethylene terephthalate (PET) line in Ningbo of Zhejiang has been shut on 22-23 October for maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.
The 150,000 tonnes/year bottle-grade chips line is estimated to be shut for one month, with the line scheduled to be restarted at the end of November, said the source.
The company had to take the unit off line because of machinery problem and of poor market situation, added the source.
