LONDON (ICIS)--INEOS ChlorVinyls’ chlorine and caustic soda operations at Rafnes, Norway, are in restart mode following a recent planned maintenance turnaround, after a slight delay for technical reasons, a company source said on Thursday.
The chloralkali units are expected to be back online and back to normal production rates over the weekend of 26-27 October.
The operations were taken down on Friday 11 October for maintenance and output had been expected to resume by the early part of the week commencing 21 October.
Details of chlorine and caustic soda nameplate capacities were not disclosed.
