SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Inner Mongolia Junzheng Energy & Chemical Industry Co Ltd shut down its 300,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant on 24 October for maintenance, a company source said on Friday.
“The maintenance may last for about four days,” the source said.
Prior to the shutdown, the PVC plant at Wuhai city in Inner Mongolia was running at full capacity.
“We also want to run the plant at full rate after the maintenance,” the source said.
The company is running its other 300,000 tonne/year PVC plant at the site at 100%, the source said.
The company is offering its PVC at yuan（CNY）6,200/tonne ($1,020/tonne) EXWH (ex-warehouse).
