HOUSTON (ICIS)--LSB Industries has shut down its anhydrous ammonia and urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) plant in Pryor, Oklahoma, for unplanned maintenance, a spokesman at US-based fertilizer producer said on Friday.
The plant was taken out of service in October and is expected to return to production by the middle of November.
“The scope of the unplanned maintenance activities has increased since the Pryor facility was taken out of service as mechanical issues, and opportunities for plant performance improvements, were identified,” LSB said in a statement.
