SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical shut down its 300,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant in Guangdong province late on Sunday, for routine maintenance, a company source said on Monday.
The maintenance will last three to five days, the source said.
The shutdown is brief and is not expected to have much impact on supply in the domestic market, industry players said.
