SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem plans to take its 1m tonne/year cracker in Yeosu off line in November next year, said a source familiar with the situation on Tuesday.
The cracker will undergo regular maintenance for a month, the source said.
Currently, the cracker is being operated at full tilt, he said.
LG is also operating its 940,000 tonne/year cracker in Daesan at full capacity, the source said.
