SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Pertamina has issued a tender to sell a total of 30,000 tonnes of paraxylene (PX) and 18,000 tonnes of benzene, industry sources said on Tuesday.
Bids for the cargoes are to be submitted by 4 November, with two days’ validity, according to market participants.
Both the PX and benzene cargoes are for December loading, they added.
The PX cargoes will be sold on a free-on-board (FOB) Tuban basis, and will be priced against 50% Asian Contract Price (ACP) and 50% spot average PX CFR (cost & freight) SE (southeast Asia) values, market sources said.
The benzene lots will be priced on an FOB Tuban basis, they said.
