SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Chenzhou Huaxiang Chemical shut down its 80,000 tonne/year paste polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant on 28 Oct at Chenzhou of Hunan province to carry out maintenance works, a company source said on Tuesday.

The maintenance will last for about five to seven days, the source added.

The company currently has no spot PVC cargoes to offer because of the shutdown.
