LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European ethylene contract for November was settled at €1,195/tonne ($1,660/tonne), down by €30/tonne from October, a producer said on Tuesday.
The contract, agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis was between the producer and a non-integrated consumer.
A second producer has also settled at €1,195/tonne with three other consumers.
Confirmation from the buying side is pending.
The European ethylene contract price for October was fully confirmed at €1,225/tonne.
