LONDON (ICIS)--The European propylene contract price for November is confirmed at €1,080/tonne ($1,500/tonne), down by €30/tonne from October to reflect weaker feedstock values, contract settlers said on Tuesday.
The decrease was also in recognition that supply could lengthen through the month as planned maintenance is due to come to an end and year-end inventory concerns rise to the forefront.
To date, two producers and three consumers - two non-integrated and one integrated - have confirmed the settlement.
The contract is agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
