SHANGHAI (ICIS)--South Korea’s SK Gas plans to start up its 600,000 tonne/year propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit in Ulsan in March 2016, a company source said on Wednesday.

About one-third of the propylene supply from the facility will be sold to domestic end-users, while the remaining two-thirds will be for the export market and for captive consumption, the source said.

The company has yet to decide on the types of derivative business to develop, according to the source.
